High quality and superior performance, Makrolon® CS UV profiled polycarbonate sheet is ideal for residential, commercial and
industrial roofing and cladding applications where natural lighting is required. Manufactured from high-tech, high quality Bayer
Makrolon® polycarbonate resin, Makrolon® CS UV sheets combine remarkable clarity with incredible strength and excellent
fire resistant properties. The added protection of a co-extruded UV protective barrier means that the sheets will never crack
or peel away. Makrolon® CS UV sheets are 250 times stronger than glass, exhibit exceptional resistance to impact, extreme
weather conditions and numerous chemicals. They also remain free of corrosion and provide protection from 99.9% of
harmful UV radiation.
Makrolon® CS UV offers the classic Makrolon® 2000 and the metallic heat reflecting Makrolon® Apollo, both available in a
range of popular profiles, colours and thicknesses. Applications for Makrolon® CS UV sheet range from roofing or cladding
for factories, warehouses and public buildings to skylights, swimming pool covers, greenhouses, verandas, pergolas, patio
covers, awnings, carports, gazebos and more.

Remarkable Impact Strength |
Makrolon® CS UV sheets exhibit
remarkable impact resistance. Manufactured
from high quality Makrolon® polycarbonate
resin which has 250 times the impact strength of glass and
up to 40 times that of Acrylic (PMMA) sheet at the same
thickness, Makrolon® CS UV sheets are virtually unbreakable. |

UV Protection |
Makrolon® CS UV sheets prevent the transmission
of more than 99.9% of harmful ultraviolet
radiation, providing excellent protection against
the sun for your skin, furnishings and plants. |

Flammability |
Makrolon® CS UV sheets have an
excellent flammability rating (UL94 V-2), are
self-extinguishing, fire resistant and suitable for
use in fire prone areas. They will not emit toxic
gasses and are less flammable than GRP or Acrylic
(PMMA) sheets. |

Quality |
Makrolon® CS UV sheets are manufactured to comply
with AS/NZS 4256.5 Plastic roof and wall cladding
materials- Polycarbonate. The manufacturer,
Laserlite Australia holds Australian
Standards Mark Product Compliance Licence
number 1811. In relation to ongoing compliance,
independent third party monitoring of compliance
is conducted by SAI Global.
Laserlite Australia is also a Quality Endorsed
Company. Its management system is certified

Extreme Weather Resistance |
Makrolon® CS UV sheets remain stable under extreme climatic conditions remaining virtually unchanged between temperatures of -20°C and +120°C. They will not become brittle at low temperatures, provided adequate allowance has been made for expansion and will not distort at high temperatures. |
