Fixing:
Pre-drill holes 5 - 6mm oversized to allow for expansion and contraction. Use Laserlite screws and sealing washers.
Tools required for installation:
Cutting: Fine tooth saw, jig saw with plastics compatible blade, circular saw with fine-toothed blade, trimming knife.
Drilling: Any metal drill bit (sharp edges are preferred).
Cleaning: Use soapy water (mild detergent). Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Gluing: Not recommended.
Sealing: Not recommended.
Bending: Can be cold bent into shape using tooling with rounded corners.
Handling and Storage:
When storing Handiclear sheets prior to use, make sure the sheets are stored on a flat surface away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Cleaning:
Use soapy water (mild detergent). Avoid abrasive cleaners. |
